Thank you for purchasing HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise edition!
This file contains information and instructions about:

2. How to obtain a license file needed to fully unlock your HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise edition.
=======================================
1. How to upgrade your HTML Guardian Personal edition installation to Professional / Enterprise edition.
The zip file you have received after your HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise purchase contains two files:
pro.exe - an updater from HTML Guardian Personal to HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise edition
Readme.txt - the file you are reading
Note that pro.exe is only an updater, not a full installation. You MUST HAVE HTML Guardian Personal edition v6.4 or higher already installed before starting pro.exe.
If HTML Guardian Personal edition version 6.4 or higher is not installed on your PC, download it from
http://www.protware.com/dl/HTMLGuardian.exe
and install it, then proceed with the next step.
Double click pro.exe file to start it. The first screen you'll see is the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT for HTML Guardian.
In case you accept it, click the 'Accept' button.
The next screen will prompt you for the HTML Guardian Personal edition installation folder.
The default HTML Guardian Personal edition installation folder will be entered in the text box. If you have installed HTML Guardian
Personal in another folder, click the 'Browse..' button and select it, otherwise just click 'Install'.
Your HTML Guardian Personal edition installation will be upgraded, and HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise will start automatically after the upgrade is finished.
2. How to obtain a license file needed to fully unlock your HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise edition.
To fully unlock your HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise edition installation, you need a license file.
To obtain a license file, you have to generate a License Request File first and send it to us.
After you upgrade HTML Guardian to Professional / Enterprise edition, the program will start and you will see a screen that says:
'HTML Guardian Professional / Enterprise - License File Not Found'
Click 'Create License Request File' button - this will start HTML Guardian's License Manager.
Enter your ShareIt order reference number in the text box and click 'Create License Request File' button.
This will create a License Request File in HTML Guardian's installation folder. It will be named your_ref_number.lrf
If for example your ShareIt order reference number is 11111, the License Request File will be named 11111.lrf
Zip this file and email it to sales@protware.com as an attachment. Please also include in your email your ShareIt Ref. number , your name and your company name(if applicable), as well as the type of license you purchased (Professional or Enterprise).
Note: HTML Guardian is licensed per machine. Generate the License Request File on the computer for which you want to obtain a license file.
The license file can not be used on another computer.
If you purchased more than one HTML Guardian license, mark license request files so that you can make a difference when you receive the license files.
When we send you the license files, we will send you information which one is for which computer.
Please email us your License Request File from the email address you specified when you purchased HTML Guardian!
When we receive your License Request File, we will send you either a Professional or an Enterprise license file (depending on the license you purchased).
Simply put the license file in HTML Guardian's installation folder.
When you start HTML Guardian afterwards, all modules will be unlocked.
